I’m Destiny and I’m 12, going on 13 in July, I’ve always wanted to be a singer. When I was little I used to perform songs in the living room. I also used to write song with my friend. I actually want to get in to a performing arts school. I was Veruca in Willie Wonka jr.
I’ve been practicing Defying Gravity, Take me or Leave Me, and Don’t Rain On My Parade. I want to do Broadway. I have no problem making a audition tape if you want to hear me sing, I’ll sing any song you want, I’m a fast learner.

  4. Justin Lawler says:

I would be grateful to be given the opportunity to be a part of “The Voice”. Growing up I resented playing my instruments and working on music because my parents have pushed me into competition with my twin brother Ryan. For the longest time i believed he was much better than I was at music, as well as my family and friends seeing him as the more talented and more outgoing one of us. It wasn’t until my Junior year of highschool that I realized I had a had a voice and auditioned for a musical where I got a lead role and my twin got the lead role but that didnt stop me. After the first show I went out to eat where my sister worked and sang for my sister because she had to work for all of the shows. When I sang she started to cry, she has never seen me, the timid, shy little brother shine. Just experiencing that moment pushed me to work on my music and continue my college education for vocal performance. I believe I can bring competition for my twin now as well as to the competition.

I will be 50 years old next year, and I would like to prove that you’re never too old to sing. I have a weekly internet radio show, in which I DJ music, and sing on my shows. I would like to know more info on how I can audition for the Voice! Thanks!

    • Alexia Drollinger says:

My name is Alexia and I have been singing since I was about 3 yrs old. When I was younger I would mostly sing songs that I wrote myself but know I also sing songs from the radio. I believe I should be considered for the voice because I spend most of the day singing no matter what I am doing, I sing so much that my parents have to tell me its quiet time (: My parents have told me that my voice is a gift from God and the more that I exercise my gift the better I will become. When I sing it calms me and makes me feel happy so I hope thats how other people feel when they hear me.

  17. james pape says:

My name is James and I am from Chicago. I feel I should be considered to audition for the voice in Chicago for several reasons. First I am 33yrs old, and have been singing for 28yrs, along with playing piano and guitar. I write tons of original songs and have an ear for harmonies. I’m a single dad of one daughter, and with my age and sparing time the voice is a perfect opportunity for me to show the world what I can still do. I also have had alot of experience with different genres and feel I can sing them all well and I always sing like myself and try to make every song unique as opposed to mimics to someone elses!

  18. Ebony Wims says:

I feel that i am right for the voice because i have a passion for music and a very strong voice that touches the hearts of many!
